Same here. And I actually don't like pop music nearly as much as some of the people I work with. I'll atleast bop to hip-hop, alternative, rock, etc. Some of them will only listen to Katy, Gaga, etc which is fine, but they fit the gay stereotypes more than me at times.
And I hate that some people assume that since I'm gay, I will only listen to popular female artists. I get that all the time. I've had a couple of people say to me (almost word for word), "Oh, since you're gay, I bet you love that new Katy Perry/Lady Gaga/Britney/Rihanna song!"
