It's obvious that Telephone would have been bigger with Britney. Britney is a digital force in her first weeks out. Beyonce isn't really a huge digital seller, she always needs an enormous amount of radio airplay in order to sell significant amounts. Britney however doesn't need much airplay to sell hugely when she first comes out.
thats true considering that she can release the shittiest song's ever and still go to number 1.
No. Beyoncé and Lady Gaga were the biggest female artists that year. Both of them had numerous hits and were just huge. It was the best collaboration at that time and Britney wouldn't have added anything. She would make it worse like she made S&M worse. And the Britney stans can't deny that even Beyoncé was bigger on Pop radio during IASF.
It would debut at #1 and have chart success. Now, King Bey made this song have longevity, and she isnt such a great digital seller, but she's the reason why this song will be remembered. Unlike other songs that chains and whips excite them
Maybe Beyonce, but not Gaga lol. Bad Romance is her most memorable video.
And of course a song is gonna get bigger after a video, what kinda logic?
I said one of the most memorable. As in top 5.
Yes but videos don't usually get the hype and attention Telephone did. Plus the general public really liked it and it's without a doubt one of the most memorable things about the song and the whole TFM era.
