Kworb estimates Kelly sold 70k more than Adele this week. However, the airplay gap is 74M.

The sales look underestimates IMO. Kelly sold 225k last week with just 5 days at #1 and only 3-4 of them had the monster lead. This well, Kelly has averaged a 28-31% gap on Adele for all 7 days. So I'm thinking the sales will be above 230k before.

And if she doesn't get it this week? She'll come back swinging next

Good point. I think Kelly has the slight edge, but it gonna be some real nailbiter, that's for sure!
As a (new) adele fan, i'm satisfied . the fact that SFTTR even got to #1 is beyond all reason lol, so everything now is just bonus.

That's exactly how I feel. As an Adele stan I know I should be happy with 2 weeks at #1 considering it's already spectacular that she got there with zero promotion in America and no music video. But since she has no shot against Kelly next week, I want her to get her 3rd week now. Greedy greedy

She may have no shot next week, but after the Grammy's we're looking at consecutive weeks at #1 for Adele! All deserved, of course. I'd love for Kelly to get her 2 weeks now, and then Adele can dominate for a month after that.
