'Born This Way' was the first video from Lady Gaga's album 'Born This Way'. Born This Way starts with the Mother Monster, Lord Gaga, giving birth to a new race of people. Somehow, one of her babies comes out evil and starts ****ing things up or some ****. I don't know. What I really like about this video is the choreography and how the diverse group of dancers are swimming in multi-color paint to symbolize the joining of all skin colors, races and ethnicities. I thought it was pretty beautiful. Gaga's been ******** all over my countdown, lately. I'm not here for it.
#5 Artist of 2011 Rihanna
Rihanna scored 4 #1 singles this year. (Right?) She enjoyed 2 successful albums selling millions around the world. Rihanna has become the top-selling digital artist of all time and the most googled artist of 2011. Also, her messy ****ing tweets have continued to bring the kiiii.
His/Her Majesty, Sasha, is one of my favorite members this year because she has been a great friend to me. She has always been there to tell me when to stop. () Sometimes, she has been the only one to kii at my comments. I just feel very supported by her. I'm glad to have her here.
I also love that she stans for Matthew Knowles. No one ever gives Matthew credit.
#4 Best Album of 2011
Beyonce's Husband & His Friend - "Watch The Throne"
Jay-Z and Kanye West's 'Watch The Throne', released in August, lived up to all the hype it had surrounding it. Recorded in Sydney, Australia, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.,Wiltshire, England, Paris, France, Honolulu, New York and Los Angeles, the album incorporates orchestral and progressive rock influences, unconventional samples, and dramatic melodies in its sound. Jay-Z and West's braggadocio lyrics on the album exhibit themes of opulence, fame, materialism, power, and the burdens of success, as well as political and socioeconomic context. (Wikipedia) My favorites are 'No Church In the Wild' and 'N*ggas In Paris'.
'No Church In the Wild', featuring Frank Ocean, is a mid-tempo, bass heavy song with themes of hedonism, celebrity and religion. I don't know what kind of message they are trying to convey with the title of this song, but if there is no church in the wild, let me tell you right now, I will be in the forest with my bible and my holy water, converting those wild heathens by tomorrow. I like 'N*ggas In Paris' because the lyrics are catchy and memorable.
What's Gucci, my n*gga? What's Louis, my killer? What's drugs, my dealer? What's that jacket? Margiela?
#4 Best Single of 2011
Kelly Rowland featuring Lil' Wayne - "Motivation"
'Motivation', released in the Summer, has become Kelly Rowland's biggest hit. The success of this song has proven Kelly to be a skilled vocalist, a talented musician and just as good as Beyonce. 'Motivation' became a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Charts. The song was also certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
OH LUVAAAH! WHEN YA CALL MY NAAAMMEE. NO UTHAAA CAN DO THAT THE SAAAAAMEEE, NOOOO!
'We Found Love' starring Ms. Robyn Fenty, herself, and British boxer and model, Dudley O'Shaughnessy, is presumably about a couple whose relationship slowly falls apart. In the beginning of the video, the two seem completely enamored with each other, skateboarding, riding a bicycle, eating, partying and playing in a supermarket together. Their relationship then takes a turn for the worse. The two begin to use drugs and abuse pills. Then, they being to physically abuse each other. By the end of the video, Dudley is passed out on the floor and Rihanna is leaving their home, crying. I found it intriguing.
#4 Best Artist of 2011 Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland used to be one of the other girls in Destiny's Child. She is now leading a somewhat successful solo recording career and is a judge on the UK's X-Factor. Kelly has really proven herself this year. I'm so proud of her for stepping out the shadows and shining.
#2 Best Live Performance of 2011
Beyonce - "Run the World (Girls)" Live at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards
This performance of the lead single from Teh King's 4th album, '4', will go down in history as one of Beyonce's most iconic performances and possibly the best to ever grace the Billboard Music Awards. The choreography, costumes and vocals were on point as usual, but the use of lighting and screen graphics enhanced the performance greatly. I was standing all the ****ing way up with my BlackPower fist in the air at the end when the red flags were raised and the sparks began to fall.
This. was. epic.
#4 Favorite ATRL Member of 2011 YeaBey4Ever
I think YeaBey was one of my first friends on ATRL. I still remember the time I asked her to make me a GIF. (She couldn't make it. She was grounded. ) I enjoy YeaBey because she can be very funny at times, she comes off as intelligent and wise beyond her years and she speaks the truth. I remember when she & I were the last 2 Beyonce stans that still thought 'Countdown' had a chance. Then I became the last. Then CD started receiving positive updates again and at this point, I don't know where everyone stands on that issue.
Anyway, YeaBey was my 'e-mom' for less than 10 minutes. Than she disowned me and dragged my behind to this ratchet ass foster home full of uglleeee, thundercat-looking mother****ers. I don't even know if she uses me anymore. Nevertheless, I still use her. If she don't like that she's on my list, too damn bad. I made this list in early December and I'm not about to edit it. This ain't no picnic.
Yes, I still use you, but just stay out of mess and out of trouble.
Oh and I was grounded for real.
I actually made your gifs only to find out you made cheap gifsoup versions...

DEAL.
Hold up. I was the last one that thought CD had a chance.
#3 Best Album of 2011
Frank Ocean - "nostalgia, ULTRA"
The debut mixtape by Odd Future member, Frank Ocean, *****. Point Blank. Period.
'Novacane', an up-tempo 90's throwback is about Frank's romantic and drug-filled experience with a Medical student and **** actress. I use to jam to 'Novacane' at least 3 times a day. I was almost addicted to bass-line.
Dumdum dumdum dum dum. Dumdum dumdum dum dum. DUN Dun DUN dun.
I know that you can't tell how the song sounds from those dums and duns, but you've probably heard the song. Mr. Ocean is a GREAT story teller. He paints a vivid picture of his wild night of getting high on anesthetics with some hussy who claims to want to be a doctor. I can really relate to 'Swim Good', a song about running away, or swimming away, from your troubles.
I'M ABOUT TO DRIVE IN THE OCEEAAAN and run from something bigger than me. Kick off my shoes and swim goooood and swim goooooooooood. Take off this suit and swim gooood and swim gooooood.
My favorite is Frank's cover of 'American Wedding' by the Eagles. The Eagles are ready to sue Mr. Ocean for 'stealing' their song. I personally think they're just pressed because he sang their own song better than they did. They should be happy that this young Black innovator breathed life into their stale ****.
#3 Best Single of 2011
Beyonce - "Best Thing I Never Had"
'Best Thing I Never Had', or BTINH for short, is the second single from Teh King's critically acclaimed fourth album, '4'. This single is so far the most successful, peaking at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming a Top 20 hit. BTINH is about realizing something that you thought was so good, was actually wack as hell. Now, I can't at the fact that Beyonce has only had one boyfriend before her husband, Jay-Z. Bey continues to drag her ex up and down the charts. I mean...
When I think of the time that I almost loved you, you showed your ass and I saw the real you. Thank God you blew it. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I'm so over you. Good looking out!
You're sad. You're hurt. Boo hoo. Oh, did you expect me to care?
It would take another place, another time, another world and another life. Thank God I found the good in good-bye.
This ain't the first time Bey went in on her ex. Me, Myself & I, Resentment, Single Ladies, etc. I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself yet. But who cares? He was probably an asshole.
#3 Best Video of 2011
Chris Brown - "She Ain't You"
This video is an homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. A fitting them considering the fact that this song samples his song, 'Human Nature'. Chris can be seen in a white suit just f-ing killing the choreography. Every time this video came on, Christopher has been bouncing, bopping, moonwalking and spinning, but not grabbing my crotch because that is not of God. I also love the lighting and colors. Very well done.
#3 Best Artist of 2011 Lady Gaga
I tried to use the shadiest picture I could find.
For some, Gaga has only been ******** for the first half of the year. For me, she shat the whole 365 days. Her second album, 'Born This Way', sold 1.1 million copies in the first week and the lead single of the same title became the 1000th to top the Billboard Hot 100. Lady Gaga continues to evolve. Her music is always of decent quality, her performances are improving and she becoming less about shocking the public by being a weird bitch and more about being good at what she does.
Jafet and I were dragged across the server by the Beyhive last month for 'getting the 4 thread closed' when in reality, that thread was closed because people were getting off-topic. Jafet ran away to the Navy and I ran away, period. Eventually, bitter f*gs started trolling his posts and reporting him for stupid ****, which is why he is now banned. I like Jafet for the same reason many hate him. He always brought great ideas to the table. I appreciated his thoughts and opinion on how Beyonce's singles should be promoted and what her concerts should look like. I don't know how one could find them annoying. Jafet was wronged. The worst thing about it is that this caused him to drop Teh King. We're not doing anything for Beyonce's fanbase by pushing people away.
