I think the best way to put it, if you're a stan, you'll remain a stan (and for good reason); but I don't really see Britney picking up new stans.
Does this make sense?

Yes. That was my point too.

Yes, because I just don't love her for her music, I love her for being such a humble, nice & lovely and even more for being such a strong girl after all that's been through .

Ke$ha and Katy are just starting their careers - in comparison. Britney's been around for over a decade

Absolutely. She's one of the biggest selling female of all time. Also she has the cutest personality ever. I still don't understand why she has so many haters.

In terms of being the 'full package,' Britney comes closer than the more recent pop stars like Rihanna, Kesha and Katy. While I don't think Britney offers the same quality package as Gaga or Beyonce, she's definitely in a different echelon than Rih, K$ & Katy, or at least has that potential.
She has proven that she can give memorable performances, get the headlines talking, put on a decent concert, and gain a dedicated fanbase. Her voice isn't that strong, she isn't necessarily classically trained, but her charm and timing is hard to deny. When she came to relevance, she took the world by storm. Everyone was talking about Britney Spears. She knew how to capture and keep this attention. Her personal life eventually got the better of her, but she was able to have a comeback (albeit not that strong).
The Britney of 2011 isn't nearly as headline-grabbing as years past, however. You could make the argument that FF Britney isn't as stanworthy as other eras, but I could also see a pretty strong argument in favor of her being worthy. So while she doesn't get the radio hits of Katy and Rihanna, and doesn't have the classical talent of Gaga and Beyonce, people still root for her. I don't see her gaining new fans though. I think her rise to fame has peaked, but she will nevertheless leave behind a pretty decent legacy. People love her, and wish for her to be happy/succeed, not so much as a serious musician but as a person/entertainer.

If I was asked this question 10 years ago, my answer is NO. But my answer for "now" is yes, regarding her varied accomplishments/records etc.

Britney may not be as good as a performer as she was in her prime, but she always puts on a good show. She's one of the humblest and nicest popstars out there today, and despite what you may think does love her fans. Whenever she ****s up a performance or just does something so cringe worthy, i just watch for the record and it reminds me why i still stan for her.
She's been through so much and has been able to overcome all of it and be successfull again. She still has that bubbly personality as well (see for the record), we just dont see it much. There are so many things that i wish britney did and didnt do, but i dont think i could ever just stop stanning for. Lot's of people on this forum are just bandwagon stans anyway, try watching your fave shave her head, have a huge breakdown and almost ruin her career and then we'll talk about stanning and loyalty. Most of you guys would be out the door running, finding a new breakout star to cling to.
Her music is still amazing which is a plus, but there's more to it than that and how much records she sold. The respect i have for her as a 'person' is mainly why i'm still stanning her.
