I think it's mainly the effect of INAD that's number 2 on iTunes right now. I know Rihanna is popular but she doesn't have the selling power to push someone like Eminem. The guy became platinum after two weeks. If something he could help Rihanna on the album chart because lots of his fans buy every CD he has a feature on.

(LTWYL pt 2 is more known since it's the sequel to one of the biggest hits of 2011) Plus Rihanna performed What's My Name?. There's no need to make up excuses.

When u perform an unknown song from an album and u do it well... That pushes albums sales

If u perform an already performed song, then u push sales, but it doesnt make the same impact

Ummmmm Eminem's recent albums usually debut big then fall away (like Relapse). Recovery kept selling & selling because of LTWYL, which wouldn't've been a hit without Rihanna on the track. The end.

& Katy's album sales are bigger because her album adverts are EVERYWHERE. seriously, with the amount of promo Teenage Dream has had, it should be diamond by now. If Rihanna's team actually got off their backsides & organized some adverts for LOUD then that would have a had a bigger spike too

And remember the song wasn't even supposed to be released, Won't Back Down was. But since Rihanna was on the track all major stations started spinning it and it shot up iTunes and there was no way they couldnt release it.
