I just think it's funny how she's suppose to be so much more global than the other pop girls, according to her stans, but she's ghost in the top 10 for female tours. Not even one placement, ever. Even K.P. made it in the top 10.
And yes, Katy had a **** ton of dates because she had a **** ton of demand. So boo to that excuse before it's even tried.
But it's obvious she did more dates and her sets are very big and theatrical.

Because it's can't be performance skills when Rih excels in that area more than Katy.

99% of DWT was sold out don't pay attention to the foolishness
Not enough demand
tbh I think her team/herself just overestimate her power when it comes to booking venues.
Eg, they always book arenas in the US which is wise, and I'm pretty sure her US average increased when comparing the AWT to the DWT, no(?), which is a good thing and shows tour on tour growth.
The problem lies in Europe, especially with the AWT and the overzealous booking of stadiums in the UK/Ireland, France and Germany as well as others. Booking that many stadiums when Rihanna is not someone like Adele or Beyoncé where a stadium show will sell out within a day, so then people slowly book into different stadiums but do not fill them as there are so many alternatives. That means shows then get cancelled or end up half empty. (obviously not all, but certain cities in areas where there are other stadiums booked relatively nearby)
Tbh if she stuck with more arenas, they could have then upped the ticket prices, sold out shows and decided if there was demand for another and made more and more money. Eg 3-4 sold out shows at the O2 would probably have grossed more than the one half empty show at Wembley.
Also most of the BIG touring forces have multiple continents where they are huge touring forces whereas Rih only has the one in Europe.
Overall it's really got not much to do with her reputation, it's more her team thinking she's a bigger touring artist than she actually is causing her harm booking venues she cant fill and not having a second market outside of Europe to really slay in
The lack of an album kinda pissed me off for the ANTi World Tour tbh. Why would someone want to buy tickets to an album they never heard?
Beyoncé and The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour was different. In my perspective I wanted to go because she never really toured with 4 or made it a viable option for fans to see her without travelling so this was a chance to see her, but then she ****ed it up with the 2014 Europe only leg so I didn't see any BEYONCÉ material and I didn't go to On The Run Tour so I heard none of that until this year.
Look she doesn't put any effort when it comes to touring. The navy knows that we'll. If she actually did, she would have more money put in by the GP. But she needs to actually put effort. Yes she's known for her DGAF attitude, but that shouldn't translate into her touring. It part of the reason why I rather watch youtube videos of the best partshows of her tour than pay money to be pissed off cuz she was 2 hours late. She needs to change that for her next tour.
That being said, ya haters are trying the most with this. She's not top 10 cuz she has less shows than most of your faves. But average gross is pretty good. Again if she does some effort she'll get more busts into seats. I mean she played 10 times at the o2 arena during the Loud tour so the demand is there.
Touring is the only category a certain someone beats Rihanna in this decade, so I see why a certain fanbase were so eager to run in here being its the only thing they can cling to.
By no means her stats are bad, they're really good actually. She just does less shows and has less production, so less people talk about it then Katy's or Taylor's. But I mean she did do a stadium tour in Europe, and not everyone can do that.

However if i'm gonna go see a show i'd like it to feature an impressive stage or screen, so I suppose I can see how that would be a factor for some people as well.
She's not exactly known for her performing abilities and stage presence. Also, she's known for turning up late consistently.
The GP often want to see someone who has the reputation for putting on a show, like Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga (not sure what her touring receipts will be like now though) and so on.
