Although I don't like the idea of not being allowed to wear foreign inspired fashion.
The very difference between English/Anglo success/dominance vs the Germans unable to achieve that. Is in the fact that Germans cared too much about "Only invented/designed in Germany is good enough." and flat out refused to copy superior foreign designs because it felt like admitting that they weren't that über after all. While the English/Anglo appropriated/adopted/copied/... anything they saw in the entire world and snatch all the good things, advantages,... the others have for their personal gain. Winning matters more to the English/Anglo, no matter how that goal is achieved.
It's a joke that wrapping a dragon around a model might appeal Chinese customers. If we do the same for European countries, it would be like the following long or wrappable things:
Britain:

Wrapped in newspaper.
France:

The dough of the croissant is wrappable.
Germany:

Gun barrel the size of telephone poles. The FlaK gun is immortalised in the English language: "get/take (the) flak" means "to receive strong criticism".
The Netherlands:

The Dutch redefined the colours of cows and pigs
(by creating the most efficient versions in the world) so well that kids in the entire world draw the iconic Dutch version, even when the ones in their own land look totally different. e.g.
British cows Cow print is actually a thing in fashion.
If it's meant to be hilarious, not taking it too seriously, it's ok. If it's meant seriously, it's condescending or insulting.
There are differences in the national styles in suits:

Same in cars, Volkswagen offers different versions of the same car:
- European versions are Autobahn (no speedlimit) capable. Having the suspension, brakes, handling,... to deal with those speeds and the bends.
- American versions have bulkier/beefier exterior, bigger engine, save on suspension because Americans expect cars to handle like a boat or a mop and drive on long monotonous straight roads that hypothesize drivers sleepy.
- Chinese versions offer the choice for long wheelbase (extra long).
The thing that annoys a lot of Chinese is that they are short and living in the West means needing a tailor making some adjustments to the clothing bought here. Being as tall of Katy or Rihanna is for a Chinese guy being as tall as white men, looking good in the suits without too much adjustments and looking over the heads in the streets of a Chinese city. The clothing has to make them look good with their measurements. The average Chinese guy looks like Ellie Goulding size.
