They are. Don't have much straight OR gay support and both sides don't like dating them. And bisexuality was invisible to the media until this decade.
And in the past, TV shows usually show bisexuality only between two (hot) women and usually they tend to be very uncertain fueling the "stepping stone" / "experimental" stereotypes.
As a bisexual person the flippant attitude from gays and straights re: bisexuals is really upsetting.
There's this notion that bis are only "bi" as a stepping stone to coming fully out as gay. While that may be the case for *some*, the majority are simply who they say they are. I've dated men and women. I was in a relationship with a girl for 5 years. I then dated a guy for a year, and then a girl for 1 year. Me being with the girl did not negate my attraction to guys or vice versa. When I'm with a guy it doesn't mean I've "declared gay".
There's a lot more ignorance towards bis from people within the LGBT community than there should be. The misconceptions that the gays have about bis are just as, if not more damaging than those from non-queers.

So? They can watch both straight or gay **** and it doesn't erase their bisexuality.

I only watch gay **** (most of the time) and never really had sex with a female. My attraction is still there though. Yet I just identify as "gay" to some people because "bi" is somehow a date-ender. It goes both ways.
On one hand too many people (and even worse, celebrities) use bisexuality as a way to bypass gay stigma, almost as if they're justifying their homosexuality without having to be 'gay' as if it's a bad thing. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth for people that identify as gay.
On the other hand celebrities continue to pander and make homosexuality a gimmick by claiming they're bisexual for a short period of time just for the kiis and attention. Or even better, transition from bisexuality to complete heterosexuality claiming it was just a phase. It's actually quite disgusting imo
Bisexuality is real, I know that, but seriously, you must as dumb as a rock if you believe all these 'bisexual' male celebrities are truly bisexual. It's literally the go-to stepping stone... because homosexuality still has a bad connotation.
I still don't get this logic that homosexuality has bad connotations when bisexuals have even worst connotations. Greedy? Confused? Indecisive? Unfaithful? And the big one: It's not real.
You can't use what you observed from 2 or possibly 3 bisexuals in your entire lifetime and then apply it to every bisexual in the community and pass off your opinions as a fact. If they say they're bisexual, then they're bisexual until they say otherwise. Another thing that needs to be addressed is that ATRL always thinks that they know everyone's sexuality and will try to define it for them as if they're experts on sexuality and know more about these celebrities than they do themselves. The majority of you are never correct and need to stop acting like it
Because they don't believe bisexuality is a real thing despite it being a part of the LGBT community too but then again, they think the same about trans individuals so

LGBT just = gay to them.
They only want to talk and hear about gay issues. If you even think about bringing up bisexual or trans* issues they look at you funny, call you a SJW and tell you to go back to tumblr
It's so unfortunate that people who have been unfairly discriminated against for being born as gay as discriminating against those who were born bisexual. It just does not make sense to me that one oppressed minority is attempting to oppress another. I thought that with homosexuality would come a greater openness and appreciation towards the struggles of others. How can you tell a person who says they are bisexual that it is not real but then want people to stop calling homosexuality a choice?
Stop being ignorant. Stop being discriminatory. Stop being what you have been fighting against your whole life.
It's still not far off to say that Bisexuals are one of the most marginalized groups in the LGBT community and (Bi men) don't get much support straight people either.

This is the best response I've seen so far. Basically if you don't believe in bisexuality you should keep those thoughts in your head because humanity doesn't need any of that talk.
