I hear neither (breathy vocals barely heard throughout most of the song - at 2:35 when they try the voice still sounds weak af), but it's nice. It would've been great with less instruments for sure.
I agree with this. I still haven't heard a soulful ballad in k-pop with strong vocals and simple production like this one (in Polish language, so incomprehensible to most of us, but lots of emotional deliver).
The only A-pop ballad that can be considered so I've heard is Jolin Tsai's "I Know You're Feeling Blue" which bored me to death.
If you're looking for vocal oriented Kpop songs
ballads in Korea tend to be softer and lighter as opposed to soulful and deep

No, because it's way too playful, lacks any artistry and is generally focused on visuals instead of music; has very cheap productions and weak vocals. It's also super concentrated with useless girl groups and boy groups. Those type of groups (in any language) are generally the absolute pits of music. 5 or more people just standing there doing what 1 person could do with same success.
Okay these songs would've definitely done well outside of Asia at the time they were released (possibly in English). She should've tried earlier tho!
Golden Touch was released last May and it even recieved some air play on some lesser known US stations to my knowledge but her management didn't capatalise on it.
There were rumours of a US debut for her but nothing has come to fruition.
These sound like Chris Brown reject
Do you people really cream yourself over this?
And also you are all so quick to judge us for not liking this nonsense trying to pass us as xenophobic or some other bs. But you are all just focused on 1 particular type of music ignoring the myriad of other fantastic genres and ethnic musics around the globe. Why this one particular type of music? Try to explore a little. How can people be so closed minded and one-dimensional with their tastes
What?
I listen to Brazilian, Spanish, English, Korean, Japanese and Bulgarian music in a wide variety of genres. According to your last.fm 47/50 of the artists you listen to the most sing in English, with the others being Era, Shakira (both pretty known worldwide) and a russian singer. But we're the close-minded ones. Sure.
