Don't know why they felt this needed to be performed with a live band. The vocal performance was bad enough without all those instruments playing at odd volumes to go and **** stuff up even more.

The problem with this performance is that it did not have the energy that the actual song has. I hope she can exhibit that energy in tonights performance
Love the idea of live instruments, makes it sound better.
But.
Either Rihanna can't sing her own song or she swallowed an autotuner. Either way she sounded like she was drowning on it. Which makes no sense since she sounded good (...for her live singing, anyways :-p) on "What's My Name."
She sounded good on the Whats My Name performance.. something went amiss with Only girl but nonetheless she has the opportunity to redeem herself tonight.
Y'all just hate the rock arrangement. She sounded a little wonky at parts, but I thought it was actually a pretty hot performance. And "What's My Name" was even better.
