I will say this... which gender you are attracted to is NOT a choice.. however, how you choose to live your life is. Plain & simple. Yes, a gay man could live his life married to a woman and having kids. Is he going to be happy? More than likely not, but you DO have the choice how to live your life, yes. You don't have the choice to choose who you are attracted to. It just happens.

I do believe that being gay is an instinct, and to openly live as a gay person is a choice based upon running with said instinct.

So would you say that there are almost two kinds of orientations? A biological one and a lifestyle one? I've always been curious about that. Like we have:

Sex - Biological body parts. You're born one way or another.
Gender - What you CHOOSE to live as. EX. I'm born a girl with girl parts, AND I choose to live as a girl. But I know another person who was born as a girl, who chooses to live as a guy.


Is this similar to what you think about orientations? That you're born with one and then you also choose whether or not that fits you?

Hate speech and prejudice would be discrediting people and bullying them for the sole reason that they are straight which is absolutely not the case here. The people on facebook are discredited (rightfully) because of their ignorant opinions and world view.

That's close to what I think.
I think people are born with the natural instinct to have sexual relationships with whoever they want to. And then people choose where to go from there.
