While The Fame by Lady Gaga had 2..... I am.... Sasha Fierce had 1 I believe.... and The E.N.D had 3!... Idk about Big Whiskey but I can guess that it got none also. As far as I am considered critiques are pretty much useless because no one in the general public pays attention to them and they don't carry any real weight since everything is subjective. I don't want to be rude to Taylor but the only reason why she is popular is because of the Tweens.....
Once again.... only my opinion

ALBUM. ALBUM. ALBUM. Nobody is talking about singles. ALBUM.
Fearless was a number one album. The Fame was not. Fearless sold DOUBLE what The Fame/ IASF and The E.N.D sold and was more critically acclaimed.

The Fame
The album received mostly positive reviews, with critics commending Gaga's ability to discover a melodious hook and comparing her vocal abilities to those of Gwen Stefani. The album went to n umber-one in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Ireland. In the United States the album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and topped Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Worldwide, the album has sold over 12 million copies.[5]
The first two singles from The Fame, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face", were both international hits, with "Just Dance" topping the charts in over six countries, including the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. "Poker Face" was able to peak at number-one in almost all the major musical markets, and it became her second consecutive number-one hit on the Hot 100 chart. Other singles released includes "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)", "LoveGame", and "Paparazzi". Gaga promoted the album by performing the songs in a number of live appearances, including her first headlining The Fame Ball Tour. The Fame is featured as a bonus disc on the deluxe edition of Gaga's EP The Fame Monster.
On December 2, 2009, The Fame was nominated for six Grammy Awards and won Best Dance Recording for "Poker Face". The album was nominated for Album of the Year, and won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 52nd Grammy Awards.[6] On February 16, 2010, it won Best International Album at the 2010 BRIT Awards.[7]

GURLLLL!!!!

It took a year for 3 to reach the 2 million mark. Are you saying that 3 is a flop or a disappointment like you are implying with Rude Boy? Gimme More hasn't reached the 2 million mark and it only spent three weeks in the top ten before falling off the charts.
Ha! A double standard. Now of course they were all hits but don't even criticize other's success when the finger can be turned.

3 had no promotion. Rude Boy HAD promotion. Gimme More was released in 2007. Rude Boy was released in 2010. sometimes, you're a total mess.

Let Me remind of a song released at the same time as Gimme More called Crank That by Soulja that sold 4 million digital downloads in the U.S. What about that song released a couple months after Gimme More called Low by Flo Rida and T-Pain that has gone on to become one of the best digital sellers of all time..... hmmm....
No promotion or not the song performs how it does. A song can still flop or disappoint without promotion. Remember that. But of course 3 was a hit. But you are using a double standard with 3 and Rude Boy, you are the mess here...

Taylor had the best selling album and had better reviewed than the others. Rather you disagree with her win is purely your position, but to deny why she won (yeah, she won because of the Kanye incident!!!) is illogical.

The Fame is estimated to have at least 1 billion copies of the album illegally downloaded... with most of them coming from the US which is the highest number ever. So I guess Taylor does deserve the award because her Tween stans actually bought her stuff while Gaga Stans just illegally downloaded it....
If its about the Album alone the grammy is chosen by people in the music industry.... so they were obviously uninformed about how much more successful Gaga was going to be at the time... so I accept the fact that they made a stupid mistake..... everyone makes mistakes

Oh Kanye, you are the male artist I stan for but please keep Taylor's name out of your mouth. You should be smart enough to know that the media will twist and turn your words. Sidenote: I think Fearless is a masterpiece album and really deserved Album of The Year, I love and worship Gaga but I have always thought The Fame was over rated and most of the tracks were filler, where the singles really stood out.

it doesn't mean it can happen to everybody. Those songs are by black rappers. They get MORE support than regular pop music. Amy sold 12 million albums in 2006, that doesn't mean everybody else was able to do it. Some people just get LUCKY.
i am not using a double standard. Rude Boy had EXPLOSIVE radio support and promotion. 3 had no promotion and it peaked at #02 on radio and still sold a little less than Rude Boy.

I was done in here when people started justifying the fact that Kanye told the truth. The Grammy's dont reward on sales, they reward on the music and her music was not the best out the nominees. Let her go ahead and keep her little cut pity award because it will more than likely be the last time she's ever even nominated in the category.

Black Rappers nothing. They were played on top 40 radio with POP music. Besides Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift seemed to have enormous digital support as well.
Back to the promotion, while impressive that Britney has godly selling power numbers are still numbers. Rude Boy has definitely sold more than 2 million by now. That update was months ago. But numbers are still numbers. Say two songs both sold 1.5 million. One person isn't going to say that oh that 1.5 million is better than the other 1.5 million. It just doesn't work that way. You are using double standards, face it.

I may be arguing sales but isn't to justify that sales=grammy's...

But it was - and still is - the most critically acclaimed of all the nominees? That's an actual fact.

black rappers get more support. they get more airplay. radio airplay gets people to buy the song. plus, Britney was hated in 2007.
Rude Boy is a digital flop. 3 is a digital success. case closed.

Rude Boy can't be a digital flop if it's sold more than 3
Both are hits, deal with it and don't use double standards. Maybe then you can be more factual and reasonable in your debates.
And also I am dying at how you act like it was impossible to pull big digital numbers in 2007 but when I pointed out that people actually did you immediately go, oh it's because they are black rappers.
