It's really not surprising Rihanna doesn't make much money from her single sales.
Artists only get somewhere around 30% of the earnings from a download. If she were a songwriter, she'd get an extra cut of the 30% songwriters' percentage. That's why other artists tend to make more than she does from downloads specifically.
People are so ignorant here. I mean Rihanna is not even 25 and She earned 7 Millions dollars this year. That's Huge for someone of her age. Most of us could only dream to see 1 million dollars at 30.
Waiting for me for what? The fact that the article says Rihanna's numbers are not complete and the fact that they only counted 11 concerts of 29? And that is the US which she is the only one who doesn't have it as her strongest market? What's there to say?
