YASS! I don't get it, well you can't satisfy everybody! I understand that Rihanna isnt the best vocalist, and that her vocal range isnt so big, but she gave it her all and did her thing!!! I mean its hard to dance and shake like that and sing. For the most part she stayed on KEY!!!!
Wow, that was fantastic! Not only have her live vocals greatly improved, but so has her performance quality. I'm really excited to see the heights she can reach with her career. I never would have expected this when she first debuted, but I honestly think she can become one of the greatest performers of her generation.
After rewatching the performance and turned up the volume to the fullest she didnt sound so bad. i would even raise my grade to a B. I guess maybe its because my house was noisy and everyone was chatting and singing along I couldnt hear HER. Yes it wasnt her best but I see that she was having fun and that Drake even told her Happy Bday in his rap. That was cute.
Other than the high note in Whats my Name which she can almost never do well, she did good and she looked hawt aaaaand she danced and top of that and AOTL is #36!
First half of the show: She sounded bad and the way she just walked around most of the time was embarrassing in this setting. I mean, there was no excitement in her movement AT ALL. And she should have interacted with the fans more.
However. WMN and All of the Lights were AWESOME. The dancing, stiff as it was, was very welcome. There was a lot more energy in both of these performances. She also looked incredible, like a Barbadian, red-haired Barbie doll.
