This is something between Taylor Swift and Katy's dancers (not Katy directly), which Taylor has made into something between herself and Katy Perry, most likely due to the John Mayer situation, in order to gain publicity surrounding her album. I like Taylor, but I'm not a fan of her actions surrounding this situation.

I'm not entirely convinced she didn't. It doesn't make much sense for her team to hire part-time dancers for an international tour. I have a feeling this "upfront with Taylor from the start" was a verbal thing with her team that didn't trickle down to Taylor.

I may agree with most of the things you said, but you really think Taylor needs publicity for her album ? If she did it, it's definitely because she is mad at Katy or something more that we don't know, but she has never used someone for album publicity and she won't do it, cuz her albums do pretty well...

As am I. I mean, why else would you hire part-time dancers, dancers of someone you dislike, in particular? It's all so shady on Taylor's part. It's almost as if she knew this would happen and then fired them with a song in mind. But that would be totally crazy.

Yes, I do. Everyone needs publicity for their albums, no matter how well their previous album did. It's interesting that she's only bringing up the situation now (after 1989 has been announced) rather than addressing it at the time of its occurrence. It's definitely for publicity. There's no other logical explanation.
