Anyways my stuff:

Male: Justin
Female: Fergie

Justin for Male because he has already topped what "Justified" sold WW, and what it sold in the US, and that's a big accomplishement since "Justified" was released in 2002.

Fergie for Female because she really broke out as a solo female. Four top two hits, in a row, in the US, 3 went #1, first female to do that since 1999 with Aguilera. She also really broke out internationally.

UWC - Fergie
London Bridge - 2
Fergalicious - 4
Glamorous - 4
Big Girls Don't Cry - 1


Either way it's a big toss up between Fergie & Nelly. Both had similar success on the United World Charts, the exact same positions except Fergie has a #1. But my choice is still Fergie.

Yeah, once Promiscuous came out, suddenly there were lots more Nelly Furtado fans than ever before.

I can't say the same for Fergie and I say that is because her fans have been consistent instead of saying "OMG, I love this song so I'll become a Nelly fan." But I am not knocking any Nelly Furtado fans this way. Think back to last year for a minute.

The reason I say Fergie should be Artist Of The Year is once again, going back to single success mainly.

Exactly! Even though I think the next single from Fergie is a flop
but Rianna next single "don't stop the music" will be a HIT without any question
Nelly's work is done for this year (unless she releases another single like WAIT FOR YOU)! I don't think rihanna or fergie can top Nelly's work.

If we're talking U.S. Artist of the year, it should be Fergie pretty easily. Internationally, it's Nelly.

That said, I think Fergie is 49% to be AOTY and Nelly is 51% (I kid you not, these two have been neck-and-neck all year)
