Some of these basic girls were mad with Gaga being all preachy and serious during BTW era, filling up every video and image with some heavy-handed concept, all self directed and always talking about loving yourself and empowerment, etc. I can't say this is representative of any era (I doubt ARTPOP will be all trap songs and Gaga rapping about her accomplishments like every other basic rap bitch), but it's Gaga just being silly releasing this song and a video recorded with her friends for her fans.
People who actually have a problem with Gaga in her underwear dancing, frolicking and rolling around on cake and shaking her ass in a bathtub really need to take a second to sort out their priorities and get over themselves. Their insecurities are showing.
