the first long ATRL post I actually read and enjoyed...
I agree so far all the material on BTW (Judas died out for me after about a week) is pretty unappealing which sucks b/c i was getting hyped for the album even though Im not a big fan of hers.
In terms of the remark about "stanning over musicians when they have died out" (i.e. the godney bit), that is obviously subjective and my two favorites have yet to let me down with their material

Drake & Rihanna...although I will say that Rih's pre gggb music is weak & Drake's mixtapes are better than TML. However, neither of them have "let me down" and I pretty much can jam to every track on all of their albums (cept music of the sun and A girl like me...as mentioned previously)

The Fame Monster is not very dark. It is just perceived to be that way.
The imagery is dark, but I wouldn't really call it an overwhelmingly dark album.
But I guess this is just my opinion.
