The thing is music is dead, no artist is entushiastic about it, they all are venturing to fashion because it's where's the money at and they put music to the side and it becomes a hobby, Kanye was supposed to release his album ages ago as well but he keeps focusing on his clothing lines just like Rihanna, it's sad but understandable

No, but it surely feels like she has scrapped her original plan after seeing that 4 5 Seconds (which was successful, simply not as successful as Diamonds and WFL), AO (complete fail) and BBHMM didnt perform the way she wanted them to perform. So somewhere around March/April, she mustve thought together with her label that its better to let these singles slowly die down, focus more on commerically setting up the Puma Deal etc, and then probably suprise releasing everything since a surprise drop is, as Bey and also 1D showed, a sure way of getting those #1-Itunespositions for quite a while -> Good promotion.
I do'nt mind her taking her time (isn't it what we all asked her?) but you can't just drop a lead single, 2 other singles, tease songs on insta and then say "the album isn't done" 9 month laters .
Plus, she's always partying and on vacation like if I was making an album and had all those songs but couldn't yet make it cohesive i would work on it day and night to make it the way I want it
