But yea her first weeks sales are gonna be super sucky but I hope with the promotion of her 2nd single she'll be able to sell consistantly.

It turns out she had yet another album listening/release party @ Zune in L.A. last nite.
And here's the info I got from ppl who attended:
-She performed "I Did It For Love" for the first time.
-She also performed "Scream" from her debut english album.
-The "I Did It For Love" music video was also shown and was described as a sexy new side of BoA we haven't seen before.
-And "Girls On Top" is infact an english cover of her 2005 Korean hit.
-Teairra Mari & Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkely) attended the party.
Ahhh, I can't wait for the "I Did It For Love" video. They're had better be some fan-cam videos up on youtube.
Yea, that wasn't her best live (it looked very high school talent show) but she's been traveling back & forth from Japan to the U.S. promoting projects so the jetlag has been getting to her + that was her first time performing "I Did It For Love" not to mention that stage is so small and ******.
I don't know why she even bothered flying back to Japan to semi-promote "Eien". It still did as badly as her other singles. Which one does her team want: a Japanese career or an American one? Lee Soo Man surely doesn't care about her career in Korea right now.
I was actually surpised @ how poorly "Eien" did, especially with it being a triple a-side but maybe it was cause the release of 'BEST&USA' is so close that ppl would rather wait for that instead of buying the single.
Eiether way its obvious her sales in Japan are/have been declining for awhile now. I honestly think her main focus should be making a name for herself in the U.S.
For a while, it sounded like they wanted to push her career into mainland China, but I knew that was going no where. Her Mandarin is worse than her English, although I wouldn't be against a Chinese album in the future.
I liked "Eien" a lot, but I knew it wasn't going to sell that well because her "Best of" album is coming out soon and the fact that she just isn't the hot thing in Japan anymore. After Best of Soul, people just stopped caring, unfortunately. "Winter Love" was her only really big hit after that.
The sad thing about BEST&USA is that I think Avex made it a double-release because they don't believe either one could sell on its own in Japan.
