Britney Breaks Australian Radio Airplay Record
Britney continues to break records around the world with her latest single Hold It Against Me, and can now add the Biggest Spin increase in Australian Airplay chart history to that list.
According to Mediabase Australia, Britney increased radio play by a massive 313.9% and jumped from number 94 to number 10 this week. Her spins were at 476 – making a difference of 361 compared to last week.
This breaks the last record held by Australia’s favorite American P!nk, who increased by 304.5% back in August 2008 with So What!
Britney is expected to rise slightly next week on the official ARIA chart after her Top Ten debut this week.

Does Circus have a chance of going 3x platinum this year? 
Ironic that "3" is also her third best selling single.  the references just won't stop.

No, technically BOMT is Britney's third best selling single. BOMT has like 2.1 million physical sales and then 500k digital sales as well.

"Womanizer" has grown a lot since it was announced 3 million a few months back.  "Circus" hasn't moved much.. don't know if it will get to 3 million soon. "Amy" sales are

I love how 'Piece Of Me' outsold 'Gimme More' even with a way lower debut and, basically, half the airplay support.
