So ready for this!!!! Hoping there's not too much pop on it but if there is something modern and not dated. I'd love a heavier more mature sound though. Like many have said, Avril has already made her mark on pop culture and is one of the most successful artists in the US - she doesn't need to try to be at the top of the charts anymore. Her label needs to realize that.

I highly doubt about the quality of this album since she's been into working with no-one-cares writers/producers lately. I wanna be proved wrong though. Personally I want her to go back to pop rock root like Under My Skin, or even a little bit heavier as The Pretty Reckless. I love to hear more ballads as well since they're her strength and if she digs deeper into other genres like she did with GYWYL (not Hello Trashy though) it would be insane. I'd love to see her be successful again which is almost impossible but I'm not giving my hopes up because she deserves it.

Ew Rock n Roll is actually one of her worst and most dated singles and deserved to flop the way it did. The vocal production is not the tea either. It never had a chance. Just look at Let Me Go outcharting it.

First of all Katy is let's say not the best artist, second of all - their voices and music are different so I'm not sure how that one would sound, third - the Taylor situation, fourth - Katy was forced to do music like Avril before becoming famous so I think she is not much fan of Avril

Working with Artists no-one-cares CAN help you bring in higher quality recrods look at some indie bands. Their music is better than most of the mainstream garbage. She just needs the right sound like go for Ryan Tedder-esque, Coldplay-esque or Twenty One Pilot-esque route.
