Does anyone know if the only way to buy this will be with TD? Because I want something like RCA did for Kesha...release Cannibal tracks with Animal, but sell Cannibal separately too.

Her fans, and people like me who find her music to be a guilty pleasure, deserve some actual new material and not just something thrown on for the sake of a record. A re-release will delay a new album by at least 6 months, it'll probably be 2013 by the time she get's a third album out.

IKAG and USG at least felt authentic. Katy acts like she's such a bad ass chick while releasing fun bubblegum stuff like TD and CG....it's so conflicting.

Her material is amazing, it's why she is so successful. All made for radio infectious fun pop but the leftovers from what I've seen are not worth it so I'm hoping there is real material coming out here.
I may find her as annoying as hell but girl knows a good pop song.

TD era was never "boring"! Every single was different. Cali Gurls, TD, F, E.T., LFN & TOTGA are different songs, different music, amazing videos... She can do the same with her album.
TOTGA is my favorite release from TD (and E.T. my second fav.)

I don't think it's been record in two days. I have receipts saying Katy has been working with producers off and on since like... August. 
Not sure about the overexposure either. If a sixth single that's relatively week can go top 3 on airplay with over 120 million AI, it's hard for me to believe she's over exposed. Yea, she's been on the radio constantly since May 2010, but her singles have been pretty fairly distant.

This. Adele, Madonna, Guetta along with Rihanna's multiple singles being potential smashes are going to be really tough to beat.
Hope Perry can pull a ET 2.0 or a TD 2.0 at least, not here for TGIF or CG tbh.

did you just call ikag and usg authentic? if there's a song from ootb that's actually authentic, it should be Lost i'm stil breathing thinking of you
and lbr teenage dream is miles better than ikag and usg.

I still go with my theory that the **** was raped. Edging 30 and clinging to Sesame Street imagery and 12-year-old girl personas definitely shows she's pathetically living the childhood and innocence she never lived. I bet her father did it, he is a pastor so it makes sense.
Anyways, no surpise here. Singles is all Katy is worth, it isn't shocking her label is still desperately starving for this record.

I think by nature Katy is going to be a re-invention artist, she took a completely different musical direction for TD compared to OOTB and I hope that continues because artists can go stale if they don't change it up (there are obvious exceptions but I don't see Katy as one).
I think it will dissapoint her fans if she releases TD 2.0. Teenage Wet Dream.
