I didn't know that Utada released an English album before.
So, I listened to several songs from "Exodus" at Youtube, but the songs are kinda more electronica, not Pop sound like her new album. I have to listen to the entire album, but I am amazed by her versatility/diversity.
Wow! I think she is very talented.
I don't like artists who create the same kind of songs continuously to satisfy fans, but she seems to change her sounds in each album. I remember that when Maroon 5 changed their sounds a little, some old fans were so upset.
I love her voice with emotions (not mechanically filtered voice like other singers) and unique sound with "originality". I also love her lyrics which look complicated in some songs, but are very unique like having "double entendre".
Most of americans don't know her, unfortunatly, right?
She needs more exposure!
Anyhow, "This is the one" is an amazing album IMO.
