Yeah, I generally do agree that Harmonizers shouldn't try to act like LM are flops since they're obviously not, but I always laugh whenever I see a Mixer use that "highest girl group debut on the BB200 this decade" as a subtle way to shade 5H when Reflection debuted with way more copies than Salute did, and only got one position lower because Reflection was released during one of the most competitive weeks in the entire year while Salute was released in one of the quietest times of the year for albums

I love Little Mix, and I don't think they're flops, but their fans downplay 5H's success when the cards have been against them their whole careers, and they are making more of an impact at a faster pace. So global.

Let's also congratulate Fifth Harmony with having the longest charting single on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 10 by a girl group in the last 11 years with 8 weeks

How does having multiple songs that practically the whole world knows NOT make you big?

If anything, I actually think it's more laughable to assume album sales = general public popularity than it is to assume that single sales = general public popularity. I have a feeling that most people on the street would have a much easier time naming the ten biggest songs in a year than they would naming the ten biggest albums. For the most part, album sales are way more of a stan-oriented stat than single sales are.

I'm obviously not suggesting strong album sales are unimportant or irrelevant to success, but dismissing all of 5H's success because their album sales are weak doesn't make much sense.

Even the lowest selling girl's generation album outsold FH and if we were to compare Girls Generation to Little Mix, GG has sold more albums and singles.
