Haha not really tbh. Applause was a moderate hit coz it was big in the us but kind of local. Born this way was a massive hit and TEOG was also an okish hit. The rest of them were under performances and guy and MTN were huge flops.

No, sis. She has not promoted the album. She promoted a US-only single in the US and a worldwide single (XO) that she performed once in the UK vs. Katy performing Roar six times worldwide, Unconditionally eleven times worldwide, and Dark Horse six times worldwide.

It's very evident she simply does not care where her singles chart, at least thus far. If I recall correctly, the whole "she won't have another top 10" that started in 2011 was quickly put to rest by a sole performance. Not to mention the fact a four-month old album has already outsold PRISM and will unquestionably outsell Unapologetic by the end of the year.

Enough with the lies, Beyonce hyped up the album for an entire year with a Super Bowl performance and promoted at some of the biggest award shows. Rihanna did VS Fashion show, X Factor UK and the Grammys for UA... she hasn't done heavy promotion since LOUD.

And since when is it a good thing to have album sales but no massive hits? Rihanna gets both album sales and huge hits so she automatically wins

She worked her ass off and put in a lot of work bc she's Beyoncé and that's how she is naturally but she definitely wasn't running after success when she herself wasn't expecting the reception it got. In fact, she thought it was gonna flop the first week.
