More genre confusion: Is "Ain't It Fun" rock? Are "Love Me Harder" and "I'm Not the Only One" R&B?

A more existential question: Several songs that were submitted for the ATRL Grammys last year but not nominated ("Do I Wanna Know?," "Primetime," "Bound 2") are now being submitted again because they're contending at this year's actual Grammys. Because they came out before the eligibility period and they already had their shot, I'm leaning toward not including them, but I wanted to get your thoughts.

Yeah its more Pop but it has a better shot in the Dance field. Its actually more Dance than "Rather Be" though. Im surprised thats considered Dance.

1. I would classify AIF as Rock and and the other two songs as Pop
2. Not include them.

Just because it got played by radio, which I'm guessing its Pop radio, it doesn't make it Pop. Latch is being played on Urban and is like Top 10, does Urban radio playing Latch makes the song Urban?

Ain't It Fun is Rock. Most of the songs on the album are very 50s/60s Rock inspired.

You're so sexist. If both Cool kids and Ain't It Fun had being song by a male, none of you would be confused and you would just put them under Rock.

People say Country music is sexist, but just look at Rock music. Lorde was the first female to have a #1 song then in 17 years and then Ain't It Fun was the first female fronted Rock band song to go Top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 since probably Evanescence in 2006/2007. Look, I'm a Lorde stan and even though if I claimed she was alternative it might seem more impressive, I'm not going to deny the fact that she is an alt-pop artist, and some of her songs (like Team) are pure synthpop. I'm not being sexist or naïve by saying those songs are pop, and I'm certainly not saying they're pop just because they got played on pop radio.

Both Cool Kids and AIF contain elements of rock, but it doesn't make them rock songs.
