The summer anthem was probably used to describe Let Me Down, but school's starting up soon and lets face it once school starts summer's over. She can have the fall anthem, hehe.

yeah kelly get that new school jam!

it's all speculation and the tracklist has yet to be finalized so I wouldn't believe this to be 100%, because even they weren't 100% sure. Oh yeah I had forgotten the "third single" it was like a ballad or something, right? Shoot I'm drawing a blank on the name right now...
|
Ahh, thanks. Yeah, I forgot it too, lmao.

Ha I couldn't sleep without finding out that "third single" talk. I found it...
The War is Over" is being considered as a possible 3rd single for Kelly's new album according to Livvi Franc, who co-wrote the track with Toby Gad. However, it is not 100% confirmed to be on the new album. Some people believe "The War is Over" may be Grammy Award-winning material.
I found it at KCE this was from March of this year. Don't know who the "some people" are regarding the Grammy talk, but Livvi had done a live stream thing and she mentioned the possible 3rd single. Of course this could have changed and the song may not even be on the album... no one knows the tracklist!

I'm sure there are other leaks floating around we don't know about yet. However if songs from 7 years ago leaked, I would think The War " potential grammy material/possible 3rd single" Is Over would have leaked too.

The War Is Over seems like an amazing title. I hope what they say is true about it being grammy material... but it will need to be released before September, right?

Yep, Sept. 30 is the cutoff for the 2012 Grammys. She may have a potential grammy nom next year though, but in Country with "Don't You Wanna Stay". We'll see. I would love to see her win another Grammy.

not if they want HUGE money from people and are keeping it because the longer they keep it the more rare it gets like: Trace Of Gold, Hand Me Downs, Poison Candy and such. Why Don't You Try is also apparently out there.

Eh. Most 'leakers' just want attention and I ain't here for that! Right now I'm just interested in what legit radio stations, the label, and Kelly have to say.

Kelly was talking about premiering the song on aug 30th. Which is false. Cause if there is a VMA perfromance then it's there where she will be premiering it which is Aug 28th. Or Kelly is just trying to be sarcastic since it was/is suppose to be a suprise.

So all those leaks might not be on the album?
I have mixed feelings about that. Let Me Down, What Doesnt Kill You, Dumb + Dumb = You, & I Forgive You were HIT. :-/

Those songs were taken from the original 5th album along with some other ones that have not leaked yet that someone got ahold of back in Feb. RCA must have scratched that and then started new which would make since why everything got pushed back

Hmm people may have gotten those songs, but they didn't start leaking till June/July. Kelly recorded her last song in Feb. And in March we already knew the album was pushed back. Here's an article dated Mar. 21 where Claude Kelly talks about the album being pushed back. It wasn't the leaks that set it back it seems from a better business standpoint to release it at the best time to make money. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/166...eptember.jhtml

They may be talking about "Mr. Know It All"
http://www.songwriteruniverse.com/brett-james-123.htm
Interview with songwriter Brett James
DK: I've noticed that you're now having major pop success in addition to country.
James: Things have been going well with pop cuts too. I 'm trying to increase my presence on the pop side. I'm pleased to have the current single by Pia Toscano (from American Idol), and I have the upcoming single by Kelly Clarkson. These songs were written with Ester Dean and Bryan Kennedy. Also with Ester, we co-wrote the Scotty McCreery single, "I Love You This Big."
