I'm not trolling when I say that there is a HUGE difference Ariana using a man's voice and Britney a woman's voice that sounds kind of like her. It's fine to let someone else sing your chorus, even if it is uncredited like in Problem, but you'd better make sure that it's obvious. Let's not forget that there is a man saying those words in the Problem video. The same can't be said for Toxic or the other songs someone listed as having the same thing.

If you're talking about the one I think you're talking about, I don't think its about Britney. They say how another singer sung for the artist since the beginning of their career, like a Milli Vanilli situation. We've seen Britney sing live, both on TV and little acapella moments in interviews and stuff over the years, so we know what her voice sounds like and that its actually her voice. I do believe that that Myah Marie sang parts of songs on Britney Jean, but I don't think she's done it in the past.

Britney just isn't that good and/or is lazy. It looks like she just goes in and records the verses and parts of the chorus and leaves someone else to do the rest.

Or, when they give the demo to Britney, they just replace the top vocals with Britney's and leave all the demo backing vocals in.

For example, listen to Cathy's demo of Toxic. Notice how the chorus sounds very similar to Britney's. It's because Britney just sang on top of it.

Take note from "too high, can't come down".

This. Britney seems sweet and all, and I like a lot of her songs, but this is all kinds of lazy and embarassing. It just seems like she's not even in it anymore but her record label keeps wanting to make money. Regardless of whether or not this is old or new news, it's still sad that she can't be bothered to sing her own songs a good percentage of the time.

I appreciate vocal prowess, thus I do not pay much attention to the specifics of a voice if it's not really supposed to be focused on. Not to mention that all those songs listed that Britney used someone else for had vocals that were more or less in the same fabric of Britney's voice. It's not like it was Britney's voice then an Aretha type voice.
