Katy's local & Rihanna's singles can't seem to gain steam (after WFL).

And the question is "right now." Adele isn't currently doing anything "right now."

1. In a 1.5 year span she's had three worldwide hits and a local hit, the best selling non-21 album, and the biggest tour of any of the major pop girls. Name someone who can match that, please.

2. She's technically pop but not she's not a pop star, we already established that thanks.

3. Rihanna flopped three consecutive times between hits and Katy is not as big outside North America as Rih, Adele, or Gaga. Neither Rih nor Katy can match Gaga in album sales, Gaga's hits are huge when they are hits (see: 5 IFPI top tens including one from the BTW era), and none can match her in touring.

She may not have anything out right now, but you'd still have a lot of the GP say Gaga is the biggest popstar at the moment. I think the rest would say Rihanna with Nicki getting a small piece of the GP's votes too.
