blah blah blah, everyone should just ignore MusicfanReturns. Don't even try to argue back. You're just wasting your time. He/She is too rude and ignorant to back down.
IMO, Carrie is very modest and humble. She doesn't take this success to her head. She probably doesn't even wanna be called a legend next to Shania. But that doesn't mean she will never be one. Carrie is still young and she's trying to improve as an established artist. She's trying to learn more about the music business and prove that she is a true country artist. She's not too familar with the industry. Remember, she's just a normal person who was thrown into this crazy lifestyle all in just 3 years. Shania's been doing this for a really long time. Carrie is the next big thing in country right now. That is why everyone is comparing her to all these legends. She is definately not JUST AN OPENING ACT [That really pissed me off. That's like a slap in the face. How dare you insult Carrie like that] Even though she is no where close to being legendary like Shania is, She has a very bright future ahead of her. She could possibly be a legend. Don't count her out just yet. You never know if her next album could be bigger than "Come on Over".
And how many of you wanna bet MusicfanReturns is gonna respond to this saying "LMAO you are the biggest retard in the world" and start bashing Carrie.
Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood is in line to debut at #1 this week on the HITS’ Album Sales chart, with Carnival Ride looking at somewhere in the vicinity of 525-530k after a very active weekend. Stay tuned to HITS’ Building chart here through today and tomorrow to astound all your friends around the water cooler with your knowledge. Also expected to debut in the Top 5: Rounder’s T Bone Burnett-produced Robert Plant and Alison Krauss duet album, MCA Nashville hard-living Gary Allan, Reprise’s System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian making his solo debut and Columbia prog-art-rockers Coheed & Cambria.
Hopefully she'll have a big decline next week but i know country albums are like freakin' disney albums that they always have steady declines so i dunno...
still, 525-530k is better than the first week sales of her first album, Some Hearts, and she will debut at # 1 for the first time, since Madonna's Confessions on A Dance Floor beat Carrie (both came out the same week), but Carrie gave her a run for her money, as both sold well (300,000k range i believe)
