|
I don't believe MOST of the general public knew about this deal, especially with how little Amazon accounts for music downloads. Mostly GaGa's fans and people on forum sites like ATRL, also people on Billboards website were probably the only ones who even knew this deal was happening, especially when it only happened for 2 days.

I don't understand your logic what so ever.
You are taking away her entire first week sales all together and acting like those people were never going to buy the album anyways?
Sis...

I mean, do you know a lot of non-gaga fans who bought it because they found out it was on sale?
It's not like they even gave notice or hyped it up. I remember it popping up here and causing a shitstorm of pressed though, lol.
The only reason they added a second day of the deal was because their system crashed the first day, and they didn't give notice or hype for that either.

What kind of logic. Yes most of the general public doesn't buy music from Amazon, but the album was HYPED to skyscraper level. The general public aren't stupid even if people discredit them, and know it's better to buy an album for 99 cents than $10. And it doesn't take that long for news to get around on the internet sis, people could've found out.

Even if they found out by the end of the first day, the music system was crashed.

Why those false numbers? BTW is at <6 million WW, 2,3 million in US?
Or are you talking about the song BTW?
If so, that has nothing to do with the thread discussion.
And you ask who else?
Try Adele?

cause your actually bitter and trying to discredit her instead of just simply saying i dont like her and i am pressed she is at the top . The article is about quality of music and without the amazon sale she still would have sold,so quit with the discredit it aint looking cool on u.

The article is about music in general - songs & albums, however I don't know which statistics the poster is referring to.

This.
The Amazon discount will never change the fact Lady Gaga makes high quality music praised by other musicians, critics and the general public, 400k more or less.

Yes i know, and that should be the topic of the discussion here really, i agree.
But his post was clearly (?) a response to the sales of their respective albums.
And if it was regarding the song, RITD, and prolly SLY, has topped that, but that's irrelevant.
