So I brought up some songs from 19(Right As Rain, My Same, Melt My Heart To Stone) and I got the blankest stares I have ever seen in life . Too bad too cause 19 is a way more fun album.
Anyways, I'm glad she's taking a break, she really does need it. I'll miss not having new music from her for awhile, but her well-being should always come first, and it's good that she doesn't have the mind-set of "oh, I better strike while the iron's hot!". Gaga and Rihanna should take notes.
In most of the world, 19 is where Adele starts. If it wasn't for that era, 21 probably wouldn't have happened or at least she wouldn't have had enough buzz to start off the 21 era the way she did. 352k first week in the U.S. wasn't some random opening figure.
2014 would be the best time for her to comeback. She's going to still be supporting 21 like crazy next year (SFTTR is going to smash until the summer, then TT/RHI will take over) and then in 2013 she should focus on writing and recording for an early 2014 release.
