Besides Michael Jackson, MTV wouldn't air any black music videos, so they created BET. And then in 2002 they created the BET Awards. Just like the Latin Grammy's, the BET Awards are just there to recognize minorities in the music business who tend to be overshadowed by white mainstream artists.

We all know Chris Brown will win the most awards. Since last year, BET has been one of the driving forces to reviving his career, and this year will solidify my point even further. It's so transparent.

I love Beyonce, but I want Marsha to win Best Female R&B Artist. "Far Away" is one of the best R&B songs of the year. I think Beyonce will have more reasons to win next year when she has a full-length album. She was only nominated because of "Why Don't You Love Me." I wouldn't be surprised at all if she wins. They give her wins for anything.

He will. And he deserves to just as much, regardless. Chris has been the most popular and consistent R&B artist of the past year period. Not only has he released the most material but he's been way more spun and has continued to come out with huge urban records this year. BET will just do what should be done.
