Could any of them have inked the deals/gigs Beyonce inked before making a chart comeback ? Would Loud have smashed if Rih took a 2-year break after RR?
Rihanna does what she has to do to stay relevant
Beyonce does what she wants on her own time, whether u call her relevant or not, she's still signing dotted lines behind the scenes. Forbes always confirms those receipts

Preach!
Rihanna has impressive success, but is she the HBIC? She's merely very successul. I don't get the HBIC feeling from her that I do with Beyonce. You know, setting twitter records, performing at the Super Bowl, that's HBIC stuff.

You tried doe!
And to the person talking about sales 4 sold 2.7 in 15 weeks and Unapologetic sold 2.4 #LONGEVITY

lol even if that theory were remotely true (which it isn't), why then do the other pop contemporaries not release every year? None of them but Rihanna do.
oh who am i kidding
1) that;s what you're supposed to do, release an album, promote, take a break before the next.
2) she has never promoted an album for 2 years, the most is a year unless you're counting up until the very last tour date in which case her promo length wont be that diff from other pop girls for instance, Diamonds wsa released in Sept 2012 and Rih is allegedly touring till Dec 2013. See how the cookie crumbles

Because you literally spam it everywhere with that annoying gigantic ass post you always have ready to copy and paste. It's literally the ONLY thing you lot bring up anymore. I realize that it's tough to deal with another girl topping your fave in every department except for one, but enough is enough.

How soon before Twitter records mean nothing to the Hive and it becomes useless as Facebook and YouTube records just cuz Rihanna holds those record?

1) Okay, so what? She is still able to take breaks and come back and remain as famous.
2) It's simply not true that Beyonce's eras have two years of promotions. The DIL era lasted for about a year, the B'Day era lasted for about a year, the IASF era lasted for about a year, the 4 era lasted less than a year (unless you count the I Was Here video in which case it was again, about a year). Each era may have little things released or a remix with someone else, but once that last video is put out, the era is done. The tours extend the era but that is just touring.
People like to think that Rihanna can match Beyonce because of her success (and her success is great) but imagine Beyonce released an album in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. She likely would have had many more hits to brag about, and where would we be? The fact remains that the HBIC can put out less albums and still remain at the top.

it's so simple really. Give Rih her cookie point for slaying in the singles department and then move on to the rest of the list but nah on atrl that be all end all untouchable singles chart defines the length and breadth of every mainstream artist
and it aint like she has the best selling singles either, she just has a multitude of them out there

They get upset when we bring up Beyonce's touring power
They get upset when we bring up Destiny's Child
They get upset when we bring up the critical acclaim
They get upset when we bring up the 17 Grammys
They get upset when we mention Beyonce's statues around her peers
They get upset when we mention that it took Rihanna 7 albums to surpass Beyonce 4 albums sales
They get upset when we bring up the fact that Beyonce's movie numbers >>> Rihanna's
They get upset when we mention Beyonce high end endorsements
They basically want us to discuss the singles charts... Oh and the social media followers/likes...

Okay, forget I said anything about twitter then. The Super Bowl is still bigger than anything else mentioned.

A PURELY UNSCIENTIFIC APPROACH:
Let's just imagine something. We're at the Grammy's (or any other gathering of the most important artists, legends, icons, etc.).
Rihanna is standing on one side of the room. Beyonce is on the other. They both say to everyone, "Come with me, I have something to show you."
Who gets the most people following?
The HBIC.
Anyway, this thread is ridiculous and just made to make us fight. We both love our faves. It's inevitable.

ugh you. Reading is fundamental; I said their underperforming eras and it's not about the single stats from those eras either but the fact that they literally had to have a proper chart comeback before they snag enviable deals but Bey can do things like superbowl, vogue cover , billboard millenium award etc with and immediately after an underperforming (or flop, if that makes u more at ease) era

Funny How the album that will be promoted for a year has sold more than Bey's 4 already, which was proved by that thread about 20 minutes ago.

Beyonce & Rihanna could do the same thing, & Beyonce will be the most talked about more will have the bigger impact , ex their GQ mag cover and Rihanna had on less, but Beyonce's was talked about more. No matter what Beyonce does it's ALWAYS have a bigger impact between the two.
