Racism is VERY prominent in the gay community. The gay community has always been predominately eurocentric and favorable towards white people. Some of you need to wake up. Like somebody already mentioned, there were gay white men calling Black folk "n*ggers" for supporting Prop 8.

I think it comes down to the fact that people still don't understand/accept that it is not a choice. It's basically as much of a choice as being black except that gay people can suppress it and are not necessarily visible minorities. I think people would be less homophobic if they would actually accept that, especially the black community.

It's because the black community is raised generally around the brainwashing church. (I bet many blacks don't know the same religion they follow is the same religion white people used to use to justify their slavery) but that's another argument. I blame the black church.

IDK how many times I have heard since I have been dating interracially that they thought they'd NEVER talk to a black guy. Many gays have the white male model preference inbred in their shallow heads.
