I was really shocked and surprised. This album is pretty impressive. The production is generally ethereal. The lyricism is great as always. Half of the album is borderline perfect. Astallion may make the same album over and over again, but no matter how similar her current music is to her past music, it's ALWAYS of high quality. LOVE it. LOVE it. LOVE it.
USHER Climax

An all-around BRILLIANT track. Such a consummate vocal performance showcasing all of his range. The relatable lyrics about a relationship that just won't work. The futuristic clash between R&B and electronica that recalls Missy Elliott's miss E... so addictive and Aaliyah's Aaliyah.

Loved the setting, storyline, art direction, etc. She looked beautiful. Cute choreography as well.
Your age is truly shocking considering how incredibly mature and level-headed you are. I love your realness and your authenticity. I love how warm and accessible you are. I love that you are so relatable and understanding.
With her same old beautiful smoky, raspy, sultry voice and consummate lyricism, Brandy takes a sound common among today's basic R&B artists and makes it her own.

The bass-line, tambourines, harmonica and hand-clapped rhythms along with Kimbra's electric voice make this song nothing short of a modern day negro spiritual.
AZEALIA BANKS Van Vogue

Each video from the Azealia Banks' 1991 era (let's say it's an era) has been absolutely brilliant. The fashion in the video is stunning as are the color scheme and the sets. That point in the video in which the shot gets so dark that the viewer can only see Azealia's moving eyes as her head bobs up and down is almost scary. The video is scary, but sexy, but chic.

You’ve been like a musical encyclopedia in human form to me and I TRULY appreciate it. Discussing anything with you, not just music, is always such an enriching experience because of your bubbly personality and wonderful sense of humor. We’ve really BONDED these past few months. I could barely function with you away in school. Stop studying and sign on to ATRL pls.
