Tis is exactly what the poster is tryna say. Sexual orientation is self determined in the sense that you and no one else can define yourself, additionally you can choose who you sleep with. And although you have hormonal theory suggests uncontrollable factors concerning attraction, people are not too interested in prohibiting a people with certain biology, but are only interested in prohibiting the act of gay marriage/sodomy etc. Which is where the distinction between race and sexual orientation comes into it. If you are going to want people to empathise LGBT community, riding off of the coattails of POC won't do it because it's just not seen as the same thing. And it is not the same, in principle. The only way I can see civil rights coming into it is in the case where business can discriminate and not serve gay customers.
Ps. There are hunger hormones such as leptin and gherkin. We turn to meat among other things because it satisfies the hunger sensation most adequately.

And they are right to an extent. There are twins with different sexual orientations so I doubt it's genetic (unlike race).
There are many religious ex-gays who think they can be/have been converted. Many still regard sexuality as who you sleep with and not who you are attracted to, which is where the behaviour comes into it.
Best example I can think of is when a vegan is still tempted by meat( ) yet remains vegan by choosing not to act on natural impulses.
Yeh but black people understandably don't want their civil rights movement to be associated or muddied with the lgbt, cos yall know damn well it ain't the same thing. Just wanna ride off coat tails and most of yall here evidently don't give a damn about black ppl rights, anyway.

I agree with a lot of this.

This stuff is really getting tiring. Why are they so obsessed though?
They are probably some of the most unhappy people ever.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Some Christians are more obsessed with being gay than gay people

There's nothing odd or strong about liking the same gender. What I hate about some of them is how rudely feminine they are. Especially the black divas

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
So religion, a behavior, is protected in the Bill of Rights but the act of homosexuality can't be protected as a behavior?

A civil right isn't needed in order to be gay, but the right to marriage should be allowed to any civilian, without prejudices based on religious ideology. Being homo/straight = a condition; Marriage = civil right. They are twisting the logic here.

You aren't born with a religion so I guess, by their logic, religion isn't a civil right?
Heterosexuality, homosexuality, and religion are all human behaviours.
