It's pretty silly for anyone to think that she would be like "Oh hey, let's talk about that time I was assaulted! Yeah, that was fun!" Like, please, she even said in this interview she FEARS that the Chris Brown incident will follow her her entire life.

Right, and even in the 20/20 interview when she was speaking about the details she said that its not something she ever wanted to have to discuss, not even with her close friends & family. because the whole thing was so embarrassing to her, the way she was beaten etc. i seriously doubt a person would want to talk about something continually when it was a low point in their life. She did it (and continues to do it) because the public needed to know at the time and it still remains a topic of discussion because of her music videos and people constantly linking her to him in the media.
And people saying she should stop are disgusting. She can do what she wants and shouldn't be silenced just because its "been a while". And anyway its not like she throws him under the bus so i don't know why people are so concerned.
