The format isn't really the issue. I mean how else can you design the ganeplay of such mobile games?
Like I said earlier, this game's visuals, design and the overall, cheap and tacky and incredibly childish look of it is the reason it isn't performing as well as Kim's game did. Kim's version has a sense of maturity and lux to it which this version lacks and that is the reason it's been able to snatch the adults/moms demographic (which is probably the main reason it made as much profit as it did).
I could see Kendall & kylie's version doing good too because it's an improvement from the Kim version in terms of customization and a few other features.
Oh and Demi her game has been out for months now and it is not even remotely similar to these games. It is modeled after another type of role playing mobile game called "Episode :Choose your story"
