Demi's voice does absolutely NOTHING for me. JoJo sounds terrible live 80% of the time. Same for Jessie J. All three have terrible tones and tend to sound "squeaky"

Vocal Strengths: Wide Range in Chest Voice (up to A5 live) and Strong Vocal Endurance. An overall top-echelon belter.Uncanny ability to emote with her vocal delivery, and possesses a unique, slightly raspy tone when singing mid-range. Incredibly versatile in terms of what genres her voices fits with. Can go from Rock to Balladry to Broadway to Rand B in a flick of a switch. This used to be a con, but is now a strength: her melismatic control. If you listen to old recordings of her and compare them to 2011 live performances, you can't imagine how much she's improved in that department. What used to sound incredibly messy and uncontrolled is now clean, precise and musical. Turned a con to a strength through experience.
Vocal Weaknesses: She needs serious work with her head voice and falsetto, probably because she never used it very much in her past work. She really doesn't have the best control in that technique, and could stand to get vocal training. Her low register could also use some work, though it's WAY better now than it used to be. Back then this part of her register was so foggy and unsupported at times that it would sound like she was speaking rather than singing. It could still use more work, but she's getting there.
Her vocal tone, though unique, certainly isn't for everybody. I'm sure that there are some people that hate how raspy her voice can be at mid-range. I think it adds character and emotion, but it may be viewed as a negative by some.
LOL, no. My point was that Influence and Voice shouldn't be grouped together. If we're talking about influence then The Trinity is Britney, Beyonce and Xtina. If we're talking about voice then it's Kelly.
The influence Im talking about is how are your songs being covered in singing contest, (Which Kelly, Beyonce and Xtina are being used many times such as in AI, X-FACTOR or The Voice) and very frequent. Also how many times are you being used as a "vocal idol or inspiration". Britney doesnt have those. She is having the Madonna route not the Mariah/Celine/Whitney route.
One sign of being vocal trinity is being one of the most coveted vocal idol among the lower generation and aspiring singers. Britney isnt, she's the biggest popstar, pop princess but not vocal trinity material.

Demi has a great voice, but doesn't a "voice" have to reach out to millions to be apart of a "Trinity"? Because I could name any random artist with a good or big voice. There are plenty of flops with great/big voices.

Florence Welch is capable of singing complex vocal runs, through the registers and is able to hold notes for periods of time without wavering in pitch or tone [No Light, No Light]. Strong individual vocal styling that has been called "soulful" "bluesy" and "powerful".
Florence welch's midrange is warm and dark, and it finds its strength and volume at the top half of this part of the range. Here, as in all parts of the range, Florence is able to apply her speedy vibrato to dramatic effect.
The chest voice is elastic and never hoarse, with a characteristic free abandonment. It can reach up into the fifth octave, without sounding pushed or strained, while at the same time maintaining its clarity and brightness.
Beautiful head voice that can be soft and light, or substantial and bright.

Lady Gaga's low notes are well supported, and have a dark, solid and weighty timbre to them. The mid-range can be melodic and lyrical as well be utilised in a talk/singing fashion- see Poker Face.
The lower part of the belting range has a weight, and thick timbre to it along with a strong resonance. This resonance can be carried into the higher part of the chest register- past a C5- but it calls for the use of improper technique, making the sound raspier and raw, as its placed in the throat. These qualities can be eliminated, at the expense of the resonance of the voice, by mixing with the head voice. The sound produced is clearer and brighter with a healthier sound.
The head voice alone can be light and airy- see the chorus of Paparazzi- or thicker and with an operatic like tone- see the intro of Government Hooker. Lady Gaga's vibrato is strong, quick and reminiscent of that utilised by stage singers, but she is capable of singing without it if she chooses.
Vocal Negatives: Lady Gaga's high belting can sound like shouting at times, which would indicate bad technique or singing outside of her range.

I love JoJo and she's one of my favorite artist (musically) but I'm not impressed. Her runs are clearly inspired by Christina who doesn't sing properly to begin with.
