many people go through rough times and not everyone can live fortunately through their entire lifetimes. You forget to mention the miracles that have happened and helped these people. So many people in the US donate their money monthly to specific children. Many people go out of their way to help these people as much as possible. Look at beautiful people like Shakira who make these peoples' lives better.
Also, prayer does help so much. It is offending that you can say that God has not answered my prayers. So many close family members and friends have come to near death experiences. I truly feel that God saved them and I know that he answered my prayers.
