LA didn't deserve to win that game last night. The Devils outplayed them, especially later on in the game. I still believe that the Devils can pull this off. The Devils were and still are underestimated by a lot of people and most don't know what we're capable of. We're bringing hell to LA... LET'S GO DEVILS!!!
LA outshot New Jersey 11-3 in overtime. That's hardly being outplayed. I didn't see the full game, but from what I gathered both teams had equal-ish chances.
I felt that LA had surges of better play throughout the game, but New Jersey's chances were more consistent, which were really high quality opportunities, especially Kovalchuk's last shot on goal with 25-ish seconds left in the third period that rebounded off the crossbar.
