Yea they should be, but kids shouldn't have to be taught to be MMA fighters. Standard defense will keep the bullies away in most cases aside from extreme situations. Someone will try to bully you if you know how to defend yourself or not - you should always be prepared just in case.
i dont think defending yourself is considered bullying
No one is saying kids shouldn't be ABLE to defend themselves but they shouldn't need to. They should feel safe in their environments so they can focus on education.
