I never really liked Girls Aloud besides a few songs, but I liked Cheryl and didn't really care about the other girls. I was pleasantly surprised by how great her solo work is.
Except that Girls Aloud (well, let's face it, more like Xenomania) destroy Cheryl's work. No sane music critic would EVER put 3 Words above something like Tangled Up. None of Cheryl's songs so far come even close to Call The Shots. I'd love for Cheryl to put out material on par with GA's work, but that hasn't happened. Hence the widespread disappointment felt by British pop fans with the release of 3 Words.

Oh yes, of course, Call The Shots is just the universally recognised 'brilliant' GA single. I can't believe a year ago I thought I would be getting new GA material around now / October. I certainly hope that will now come by next autumn. They do have that 3 album deal and I hope that it's legally binding etc.

From the feedback "Promise This" has gotten, she might be slowly heading towards that direction. And "3 Words" has gotten relatively good feedback if you exclude the British fans though.
Yeah her French is something else - it needs a bit of work (actually a lot).
You guys should up the tempo and give the song a few spins like that. It's so catchy!

lol i used to dislike em with a passion they were so whatever to me. I even thought the saturdays were better But then i started gettin into Cheryl's music and i fell in love with girls aloud. Their music is great fun and catchy and have u seen em live?? bitches are so damm fierce! I'd kill to go to their concert. And lol yeah they been trashing Cheryl for a long time already.
IMO girls aloud mite be the best pop female group ever. They're not afraid to explore new sounds and release songs like Sexy! no no no which don't even have a proper chorus; Call the shots mite be on my top 5 of my fave songs eva.

I feel the same way, I 'm really disappointed. I'm also really annoyed because they haven't really said what they plan to do. They signed the 3 album deal, but I think it's quite possible that they won't honour it. There's been so many rumours on the feud with Nadine and in all honesty if she leaves I want them to disband. Apparently Sarah has spoken to Nadine recently, that's the latest I've heard. They want to work things out. I also heard that Cheryl is in no rush to record with them again, that could also be true. She has her own career, she may never want to go back to GA. That would be awful.
I was one of the few people that followed Sugababes from the beginning. I liked their material, I liked 2.0 too. "Freak Like Me" was amazing. Mutya was always my favourite so I stopped supporting them when she left. Its sad to see the joke that they have become. I have no idea why they are still together, they flopped and it wasn't because the material was bad, it was OK, it's because people are tired of them.
The thing with the British public, the majority are thick and love nothing more than criticising people and with Cheryl being the nation's sweetheart :heart: they just love to bash her :-\

Yeah, I've noticed that too. They always bashing Cheryl, saying she can't sing, she's just a pretty face. But actually i admire this bitch she really works HARD. The fact that im a stan does not blind me tho i know her voice is kinda weak but is not terrible, she can dance her ass off ans she CAN ENTERTAIN which IMO is more important than just have a good voice.

I think Cheryl's voice is really underrated. It's so delusional to say that she can't sing, I remember she got through first on Popstars the Rivals. Nadine and Cheryl's voices compliment each other perfectly IMO.

Cheryl has been more famous than Nadine for years though, ever since she got with Ashley. I think the vocals are going to become more mixed, one of the many things I love about GA is that they all sing, on every song they have a part. Are the singles being release within a week of each other? I thought it was just the albums. We know Cheryl will be #1, I hope Nadine can do well too.

yeah i think it was a nasty move from her labels to create more buzz. it kinda sad tho. Yeah singles are Cheryl the 24th nuudeen the 1st albumss cheryl the 1st and nuhhdeen the 8th this will jsut create more tension between them. thats what i was trynna say is the media's fault but idk it seems like is becoming sum kinda true. Kimba has one of the best bodies ive seen. I'm really jealous of her curves.
