Paying for radio air play is something they all do. Even your fave. It's not out of the ordinary or uncommon for the label to do that. So let's not attack Katy for something everyone does.

It was about time that someone recognized what makes Katy the queen of pop music right now. She is displaying consistency because she has found a way to appeal to all audiences that is only rivaled by ADELE to be honest. Adult contemporary and children, and young people, and just about everyone loves at least a Katy Perry song. And she is humble and doesn't feel pressured to change who she is or to do anything beyond of what she does perfectly. And judging by the number of threads made about her everyday here, I can tell she really is finding success. Thanks Dark_Lorde!
