Welcome to sexual assault crimes where the victims are assumed to be at fault until proven otherwise - usually through a traumatizing and humiliating personal attack on their lives.

Trust me I know exactly what you're talking about. That kind of thinking is why so many sexual assault/rape victims are given a harder time for the rest of their lives instead of their assaulters/rapists.
