The main issue here was the lack of reverb they had on the microphone. Those big belts need the reverb on them, or they just fall a bit flat. She was clearly very nervous and you could hear it in her voice but everyone saying the performance was bad can STFU. It wasn't bad at all, she just has some room for improvement. Don't be bitter.
She went completely off key during the first chorus and no amount of reverb could fix that.

They slowed the performance (which lowers the tone when you do that).
I need her to start doing small gigs or something so she can get used to performing live again. Her nerves really do **** her live vocals over. She better get it together in time for the Grammys. I'm not here for the mess.
