About
Here we go! Lady Gaga made a mistake switching
A-YO for Million Reasons. Lady Gaga made a BIGGER mistake by not releasing A-YO as the lead single for Joanne and releasing Perfect Illusion instead. While I like both those songs, with Perfect Illusion making my countdown earlier, A-YO is the obvious biggest smash from the album and I hate how they've paid it dust. After that is
Tilted. I was captivated by Christine + the Queen's live performance for the track in June (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2VKaH2sKtU) and was addicted to the song for the rest of the year. Next is
Nostalgia which came on my Discover Weekly playlist in the beginning of the year and it's a song that has never lost it's replay value. Plus she liked my video on Instagram once so I especially love her!
Arrows by Mas Ysa really shocked me. I'm so happy that I gave it a full listen, because the 2 minutes of the song are a little slow and not my style, but it starts to pick up tremendously right after and becomes a full fledged bop. For
Visa I'm actually combining it with the original track she released titled
Ola. I was COMPLETELY slayed when she released Ola because of the Lion King sample. When I got AIM, I was disappointed the Lion King sample had disappeared but Visa was still a bop and is currently my most played song from the album. And last in this update is
Work. Something a lot of members don't know about me is that I'm a secret Navy member and have LOVED Rihanna throughout the majority of her career. And thanks to the ANTI Diary Sweepstakes, I was able to get free tickets to see Rihanna on tour in May. She has become my first major pop girl concert I've ever been to and Work is easily my favorite song on ANTI so I was thrilled to see her do it live.
